On CBeebies, there is no new look at all! It feels weird when the the old BBC logo is simulcasted with the new one.

Yes, both channels using the old logo currently.

Possibly will be updated tomorrow then. I think I can see both getting complete rebrands by the spring but in CBeebies case keeping presentation around the bugs. CBBC has had its current look for 6 years next spring so is very possibly going to get a new look and logo which it usually does every 5 - 6 years. In the meantime it’s possibly to get away using the 97 BBC logo as it similar and like in 97 will probably take a while for everything to go over to the new logo.

In hindsight, I think the BBC are still trying to figure out how to emphasise the new branding on its kids’ channels, so it may be a while yet before any new branding…

The CBeebies DOG looks a lot bigger.

No, it's the normal size. It's smaller in the mornings when it has the clock with it.

Think that's optimistic!

I did dream the new CBeebies logo and ident overnight and they were quite nice actually. The new blocks replacing the old, changing to yellow and then morphing into square based blobs and jumping around.

It was quite nicely done, but then I woke up and checked my recording and sadly no, dreams don't always come true. Big Grin

Seems easy for CBBC. Just give them a logo similar to CITV's current one. Cbeebies though... maybe move the BBC lettering to above the Cbeebies logo and make it just as wide?

I assume the CBeebies on iPlayer trail has been running for a while but first time I've really noticed it today but must say although it is the old logo I do like the way the BBC blocks in the CBeebies logo morph into the BBC iPlayer logo, quietly doing what the whole new rebrand is supposedly based around.

It would be quite easy with the new style for the BBC blocks to jump down the screen to form the CBeebies logo then move back up for the next brand.

BBC iPlayer now has the new channel logos on individual programmes (though not yet on the TV guide) - this includes BBC News and Parliament (brighter shade of red) who supposedly aren't rebranding until the spring. It also includes the CBBC and CBeebies logo as they are now, so I think that is a fairly good confirmation that both those two are only going to see minor changes to the branding.

Blue Peter has the new BBC logo on front and end titles. Animated in both instances.

Although the endcap has both the old and new logo at the same time.

I like how the BBC logo is in the exact same size and position as it is in the idents
Wonderfully weird.
