On Virgin it’s closing a bit earlier at midnight after American Dad.
Not on Sky though.

Have to wonder how such closures will affect the advertising market considering the adverts aren't moving to the streamers (in most cases) with the shows. Will the TV advertising market just shrink accordingly or will supply and demand see those left standing able to charge more?

First post after a long while, I went inactive for a fair bit of time

after star hit disney+ it was only a matter of time before disney would close fox, almost all of that channel's newest content would end up there

Return of investment is much more doable on disney+ since they have a lot more content there, it has a healthy WW user base and disney doesn't have to distribute their content through a middleman like Sky or VM. I don't blame them for closing fox and probably Nat geo when that channel's carriage deal is finished

Personally only left fox on for family guy/American dad so I'm not really going to miss it, especially when a lot of its content is on disney+

Following FOX UK's closure, Sky Nature will move to FOX's old EPG channel slot (124) on Sky: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/What-s-On/C...-p/3717011

In the same vein, Fox Crime Italy closes down for good on the 1st July at 12am noon CEST
Popular Fox will remain, for the time being

Even if some of its content has been bought by Sky for Sky Investigation (the Italian Sky Witness), which will launch that day along with Sky Serie, Documentaries, Nature.
This will include an EPG reshuffle, with Fox taking the Fox Crime EPG slot, and Sky Serie taking the more prominent Fox one, and so on.

Well, today's the day. The link now redirects to the Disney+ homepage.

Fox has also been showing this message before programmes, directing people to Disney+.

Fox gone on Virgin Media. Cut off towards the end of a Family Guy episode I'd say at 12:25am. It's been showing this message ever since.

Although the EPG shows the listings as normal until 6am, then it changes to 'Channel No Longer Available'.

The last ever episode of Family Guy to air on Fox is currently airing, The Simpsons Guy. BBC Three’s last Family Guy was also The Simpsons Guy. Funny coincidence Big Grin

Channel just closed, it cut off to a black screen after teleshopping ended and then to an updated slide much like the ones that were airing yesterday, except it's showing that Fox has now closed. Wasn't able to capture as I'm not at home at the moment and I just caught it on now tv

Which is still the situation on Now:

The funny thing on the Now app is that you still can access Fox, but Discovery has been removed outright.

For both Fox and (the Now version of) Discovery on BT TV, a BT generated caption saying this channel is no longer available is on screen.
