Only one 'metro' mayoral election for BBC Yorkshire and NE&C this time around. South Yorkshire is next year and North of Tyne 2024

I mean that London isn't the only place with a mayoral election, are the other regions with such an election playing out specific PEBs for that election?

I don't think so, no, because all the other regions with mayoral elections also have council elections. Whereas London only has a mayoral election (I know viewers outside London get London TV as well, but that's how it goes).

I think the only region that has two mayoral elections this time is the North West, and it appears the Liverpool mayor debate was on yesterday's Politics North West.

They are indeed. Looks like it will be a mixture of a Brexit Election-derived branding with some tweaks to match the new (unseen) branding style - which is not imminent I believe.

Saw this the other day, which gives a nice indication of what they'll use. As said, very much Brexit Election meets what's to come (comparing the sideways wipes with the Climate Show)...

I hope this ain't too controversial on here but I don't like that the BBC have done to their election package this time around. Personally I'd rather just a variation on the 2019 General Election titles, maybe just with regional variations for Scotland and Wales, with some more local shots in the English titles.
