One of the most hideous studio designs I've seen.

Yes. Too much going on - don’t know where to look.

If the screens were more in keeping with the studio it might just work, but the clash is horrible. Talking of graphics though have we seen anything of the official UEFA graphics yet?
Also notice that BBC1 are putting a preview in the heart of primetime on Thursday at 9pm.

Probably one for Steve Williams
Assuming the BBC Press and the Radio Times - are correct, with the BBC showing Euro 2020 games on BBC 1 and 2 simultaneously on Monday 21st and Wednesday 23rd June, unless there are any late changes:
Would this the fist time two different football matches have been show simultaneously on BBC 1 and 2? Especially in prime time.
Or even football on both BBC 1 and 2? (Not counting overlaps in games that might have switched channels partway through or other late changes.)
There was some instances in the mid / late 60s with simulcasting of the 1968 and 1969 Cup Finals in colour on BBC 2, before it had launched on BBC 1. (Same for The Derby and Grand National in 1969.) If there were any simulcasting for 625 line B&W before that then they weren’t in the Radio Times listings on Genome- I thought I’d heard about the 1966 World Cup Final being on BBC 2 as well, but other programmes were scheduled at the same time. Of course that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
Trying to think of instances - outside of Wimbledon - where the same sport would have been on BBC 1 and 2 at the same time (especially in prime time). Even at an Olympics - where I think, pre digital TV, simultaneous coverage was very rare (if it all) - it would have surely been different sports on each. There may be some examples though!

Should be confirmed tomorrow. I guess though we should never underestimate the BBC's ability to make a poor decision, especially so shortly after they got so many complaints for having the same thing on BBC1 and BBC2, which non-football fans will see this as. Then again in reality it's no different to BBC1 & 2 airing Wimbledon at the same time, though that rarely happens in primetime.
On the other hand it's premium expensive content and replacing programmes on BBC2 will save them more money than replacing them on BBC4.

This is an example of the graphics on the PES 2021 game for the tournament. I'd guess the official TV ones will be very similar.

If EA Sports have got a hold of the tv graphics template, then you would assume that the broadcasters logo would sit where the tournament logo is, to the left of the score/time bar.
Still after all these years, offical tie-in games with 'realistic' commentary still suffers from cut and paste sentences that sit too high in the mix from the previous audio line.
Although, hats off to Jim Beglin for making a really good attempt at scripted paragraphs - in the team line-ups section - and making it sound realistic, with gaps and pauses. Something some other console/pc game producers and commentators doing the audio, could do well to replicate.
