Presumably the presenter disappears so they can rehearse, although considering it’s about one minute long and consists of just some basic reads, it’s debatable how much rehearsal they need.
Might there be a technical reason to prevent them changing from a programme in its own right to an insert within another programme within about 2 minutes, hence why they do it from a different studio?
