A slightly unusual Granada closedown from 1985 here. The sign off is no different than normal, however after a period of the Granada NCR colour test bars and tone, we switch to the blue Independent Television caption apologising for the break in programmes (skip to 12:45), despite closing down. An error at Granada’s end or something not right down the line towards Winter Hill?
