Yea but the way you put it was extremely rude.
Agreed things are getting a bit rude on here.

I compared the two versions for the 1900 junction. I actually preferred the north one better as it sounded more laid back and friendly
The network one sounded too formal I'm afraid but it us more reflective if how things are in the north.
Is BBC One North available in HD? Haven’t seen this mentioned.
Only on Virgin media. Sky glass is not 1080 just ,720p max I believe. I have not seen hd BBC on glass and the pictures are somewhat blurred.
On Virgin media it is true hd.
Just now BBC One North SD had a trailer for the Womens euros, BBC One HD on Freeview had a trailer for the Commonwealth Games
Presumably Brum is too far south for us northerners to be interested!
ITV Region: ---None Selected---
BBC Region: ---None Selected---
It's baffling they seem to think the trailers matter but the programmes don't.
Any recent data on how BBC viewership breaks down on a region by region basis? We don't see it too often now and hardly anything other than regional news data. Historically in England at least I think ITV generally were stronger in the North and BBC in the South, but suspect the regional differences aren't what they once were now.

This launch is odd, we were supposed under the initial plan to see the channel on the iPlayer as per BBC Scotland. No sign so far. I'm wondering whether this is a soft launch in all but name.
The north split appears to be just 1900-2300. There is local continuity for the first programme after the 20 o'clock news but for the programme after that it reverts to network.

I think you're mistaking BBC Scotland and BBC One Scotland? If you watch live with your region set to one that gets BBC One North, you'll get it.
Write that down in your copybook now

Nice idea in concept. The opening announcement posted was pure cringe but not all scripts are going to be winners.
The Original Publicity inferred that the channel would be visible to all on the iPlayer without the need of region selection as per the BBC Scotland Channel.
