What is the BEST ident you've ever seen?

[Neil Jones]

I was always fond of the BBC Video COW ident - I remember it being on an Edd the Duck VHS.

On a related note:

(IIRC there were a handful (six?) of different variations of this with different ditties)

Always liked this from LWT

And growing up in Granadaland I was blown away when these launched, compared to the relatively dull presentation we had in the past

And always liked the TV-am ident at the start of First Report

I think this takes some beating in terms of production quality

Personally I liked LWTs 1996 Ident

And when it launched meridian had an excellent Ident

which was even more bombastic when incorporated into their flagship evening news programme

Over on BBC Two, I think the soundtrack to Swan was amazing but best the visuals belong to Powder

I think for me BBC HD from 2009 and Sky Movies from 2011 are among the best. Sky Atlantic are pretty good too.

I think this can count as an ident right?
