Sky Media sell ads for external clients (i.e non-Sky branded channels) as well as themselves. I'm assuming this ad is running across the ad inventory for all channels sold by Sky Media, and I imagine those not owned by Sky won't want to be branded as Sky, so using Sky Media's brand is the safe option.

Otherwise satellite & cable viewers in Border Scotland are being deprived of e.g. the correct local commercials and opt-out programmes such as Representing Border etc.
I believe it's a bit of a strange situation on Sky/Freesat at the moment, in which viewers on both sides of the border get the Border England version of ITV HD, and the Border Scotland version of ITV SD.
Sky switch HD channel swapping on/off depending on what side of the border you are on. So both areas get the correct region on channel 103, but English viewers have the HD channel there, whereas Scottish viewers see the SD service there, with Border England HD further down the guide.
