I agree, Josie is much more fun than Holly, who is very wooden (apart from when she gets the giggles).
This Morning is currently frozen on UTV HD, seems to be ok on SD & other regions.
EDIT: Returned at 10:36am, picture was frozen for around 10 minutes.

It’s Philip’s 60th birthday tomorrow. So cue some celebrations and possibly some archive clips in today’s show.
I think this may be why they handed the responsibility of marking his 40th anniversary on TV to Lorraine last month.

And they kept it to a brief mention and cake at the end. Sounds like they're off till after Easter now too.

They used it a few times in the past and it looks brilliant having a live view again. Whilst it’s impressive how they recreated the Thames view backdrop with the screens, I feel that the live view added an extra layer to the show.
Just out of interest, does anyone actually believe if or when we’ll see Ruth return to the show? They said she’s still part of the team but hasn’t been mentioned or seen really since the summer.

I imagine she’ll do a few weeks over the summer with someone (maybe Josie?) to keep her happy, but it’s clear Dermot and Alison are above her in the pecking order now.
To be honest there’s no need for her on This Morning anymore. Loose Women runs year round & I think they’ve struggled for anchors in the summer before when Ruth has been on TM.
Plus with the likes of Vernon, Rochelle and Josie doing a fair few days each, they have more than enough people to get through the summer if Dermot & Alison do the bulk?

There is no way Ruth is returning and no reason for her too. The show is a much more relaxing watch without them bickering, and it's all water under the bridge now. Alison and Dermot are just far more engaging.
Will be interesting to see what happens this summer though - I can't see Alison or especially Dermot going the full 6-7 weeks, but they've now got a team of fairly regular stand ins which means they don't need too. I suspect we'll see it kick off with Alison and Dermot but then Rochelle do the second half with various co-hosts including Josie, Vernon and possibly a week with Alison too.

That's the episode Eamonn got stuck in traffic. Ruth was already in London as she'd done QVC the night before so stayed in a hotel.
