So it's been dusted off the shelves. The X Factor influence lives on with the oversized text landing on screen - already makes it feel rather cliched and unoriginal, especially with the glamour shots on the catwalk too.

What's up with Olly Murs' mic? Sounds like he's presenting into a 50p ebay microphone.

If anything kills it it will be the unnecessary overproduction. The first 10 minutes were quite off putting.
Nice to have 4 judges pretty much new to such shows in the UK though.

The only thing I hate up to now is how this group there all ariana grande don't think it works in that sense the queen one did because these more then one member but something is bugging me when there performing a solo artist as a trio

Yes, it's actually difficult to watch. Jason though is delivering what I expected from him as a judge, but Sheridan not so much. Adam has potential but Beverley Knight is very good in the role. The performances though have a quality of the groups Louis Walsh puts through to X Factor live shows.

Kinda liking it, love all the camera work, I’m not sure on the group stuff, think it would of been better with out judges but it’s feel good in a random way
Another thing I hate only one goes through it loses it they worked well as a trio
It was feel good telly, I don’t get why they had to add judges, seemed too xfactor for my liking, ☹️ Bit a good try loved all the camera moves & lighting

The voting seems the wrong way round - would surely make more sense for the virtual audience to choose the best trio then the judges the best of the three.
Arguably it really suffered from being after The Masked Singer. Both share the talent show tropes of big text, "glamour" shots and cutaways to the judges but it all feels so natural on TMS whilst here it felt really over the top and off putting.

I really enjoyed this. Just a bit of fun, nothing too heavy.
I get the X Factor comparisons, there were a few bits in there that reminded me of it. The performances were great though, especially the one that won.
Like with Walk The Line though, it really suffers from not being live. The overproduction and the editing is really jarring, and it just feels a bit *too* slick.

Just crashing out to the breaks with a bit of chatter amongst themselves from the judges felt a bit odd too. It's almost as if they've edited Olly down to the bare minimum.
@Brekkietweets
It was alright but I can see why it was kept away from Autumn. It's just not strong enough to be the main show of the night.
