What other channels other than international/shopping/religious channels rate lower than BET?

Not surprised it's closing tbh anyway.

A lot of the content from Wendy just gets uploaded onto her official YouTube channel anyway, so (when I was watching the show) I didn't see much reason to tune in or record it through BET.
Hopefully a place on My5 will serve the brand better than a standalone TV channel.

Not really surprised about it, considering that Viacom CBS rarely promote stuff from them when compared to Channel 5, MTV and Comedy Channel.

Wonder if that will change as part of the move online. Maybe it’s a rights issue, though.

Yikes. With ratings like that, I'm kinda surprised it didn't happen long ago. Here's hoping it'll be a much better success on My5. With ratings like that (again), it's a pretty easy hurdle to overcome.

The Comedy Channel closed down nearly 30 years ago! Ah, I miss those, plus The Movie Channel. A shame TCC got replaced by Sky Movies Gold. Who remembers The Computer Channel, latterly branded as [.tv] where a few tech journos (Kate, Marc etc) learned their telly chops? Chips With Everything was regular viewing for me. A viewer Q&A panel show! What a weird, wonderful product of the 90s. |
