Sunday Brunch

How refreshing was it to have Miquita Oliver presenting on the show (12/9/21) this weekend. Someone that can interview without resorting to in jokes.

I thought the show had become a bit stale over the last year or so, Miquita just lifted the show to a new level of professionalism, funny and interested in the items on the show.

Miquita Oliver. Sunday Mornings. Channel 4.

That could work.

Has it ever had a change of format since it moved to Channel 4? It’s one those shows that used to pretty good but has become a bit stale over time. I think the last time I watched most of an episode was from a few years ago one Christmas where Bradley Walsh turned up slightly merry and ended up brining the show into chaos.

I’m a regular viewer and they add in little features now and then, more entertaining features, such as asking of the Tin, than factual when it first started; however, I do enjoy the film review and cookery book features that occur semi- regularly.

Sunday Brunch is hard work unless you like two middle aged blokes stuck in the 90s. It's always been a bit samey with the type of guests they get on as well.

The target audience is probably male skewed and recovering from a hangover, so it doesn't have to be too taxing.

Now they have a section called PET ER where they are laughing at injured animals! It wasn't even funny (although Lovejoy thought it was). This programme is going downhill fast. Put it out of its misery C4.

If they're trying to turning animal injuries into a twisted form of comedic entertainment, that's almost as bad as actual animal cruelty and far worse than scraping the barrel. If C4 doesn't axe this show, Ofcom should intervene to ensure C4 does axe this show

I know it's not a show aimed at kids, but on a Sunday morning they might be watching. Anything with animals is likely to grab their attention. Poor taste.

Do you work for the Sun/Mail Online?

Have they had a tweak to the set?

Yup, a few weeks back, when Miquita was guest presenting, they made references to it

It looks very nice.
