Old Pres re-used to prey on your Nostalgia

So, awhile ago, Channel 4 brought back several 80's promoboards as idents to promote their drama, which takes place in the 1980's:

And before that, BBC 2 reused several old idents dating from the '50's to the 2000's for their Afternoon Classics stuff:

What other times did TV networks fish out old idents and logos to promote something?

First video is blocked in the UK.

Hmmm, odd nothing flagged up for me copyright wise. (my channel)

It’s working for me too.

Anyway, back to the topic in hand, and BBC One used a (not brilliant) recreation of the 70s mirror globe for Life On Mars...

BBC Wales’ effort looked slightly more authentic...

I fixed it, for one thing

Also there was that time LWT reverted to their early-1980s presentation as a final farewell before the eventual acceptance of ITV instrumentality: https://youtu.be/QE0Go3rD5cE

Weird, if you're the uploader you should've been notified. When I loaded the page I briefly saw the Channel 4 logo - presumably, the video's thumbnail - but it was almost immediately overlaid with a message on a grey background saying something like "This video contains content from Channel 4 and is blocked in your country".

I see it's been replaced by what I assume is the same content on a different video?

Pretty much, yeah

Back on track: ABC in America did these retro-looking promos during their 2019 “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” special

Anglia have wheeled out their old Knight on various occasions too when appropriate!

HBO used their "In Space" bumper in 2019 for seemingly no reason as far as I can tell, updated slightly.

Yeah, they added it to the 1988 ident for the 40th anniversary in 1999. They never reverted to the clean version of the flag ident as they changed to the hearts before the year ended.

Tyne Tees briefly wheeled out its old idents (I think all bar the short-lived 2 rivers and 1989 generic ones) in picture only for a promotional film for its 40th in 1999 (towards the end):

They did the same for a programme for ITV's 50th and reports about TTTV's history were prefaced with an ident on the week of the 60th.

However I don't think they've used old idents for presentation purposes (like Channel 4)

I should hope so, they recorded the original mechanical model for that didn't they?

Though the legend at the bottom may be added in FCP.

Out of interest, what news set did they film it in? A pres/bulletin studio or something else?

Honestly, I have no idea where they filmed it, though it must be a bluescreen area if the photos say anything

Also there were these times CBS used modernized versions of their own presentation for special events and movies:

The Granada front cap on The Road To Coronation Street is an immediate example that springs to mind.
