It was a staple in my home growing up. Every Saturday. I was always intrigued by the different musical arrangements they had for going to and coming back from every break. This clip below plays one such example.
But there were many more different jingles in the library.
I always wondered: were the typists in the background purely there for show, or were they actually typing out Dickie's scripts? If the latter, I'm sure they typed far more than he could ever say during a single broadcast.
And if they actually WERE typing his scripts, from where are they getting the data to do so?
