Thanks Rob and all those who have contributed over the time the site has been live.
It's nice to know that what we do does have people watching who care for some of details of what it involves.

Good luck to all in the future from here at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Thanks for everything, Rob. This has been a great place to chat about TV. All the best.
And now on BBC One it's time to join the BBC's news teams where you are. A very good afternoon.

Opt out, opt out.
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines
Farewell from me... for the last time on this forum...
Ooooh hang on a sec, just before the forum closes I have something very important to say.....
It's unfortunate to see this happen, but thank you Rob and the moderators for keeping up the conversation from TVF.

Good luck to everyone setting up successors to this place and TVF.
Goodbye TV Live forum.

I joined the old place back in 2018 after having been a long-time lurker, and despite not being a regular poster, it felt really rather special.

That site closed down and it was a big loss, but luckily this site came along to save the day, and this site managed to capture that magic just the same, and I’ve been much more active on here than I was in the previous place.

It’s a shame there’s not one specific new forum that everyone’s flocking to, but the fact that so much of a variety, shows how special this place and its predecessor were in many user’s hearts. And with the variety of sites on offer now, no doubt that some users who I’ve enjoyed seeing posts from over the years will disappear. Will miss seeing you all and thanks for the memories.

To many, this was more than a website- this was a place to discuss a rather niche topic of TV presentation with a group of like-minded people; something which not a lot of people would converse about down the pub in person. I will miss it for that reason- for a lot of us, it was an outlet for us to share our TV passions and interests.

Thanks Rob for running this place, and for capturing the magic of TVForum, there’s a strong community here and it will be much much missed.

I leave you with this gorgeous moment from the late Terry Wogan talking about his own departure from something that had been such a big part of his life- I think this is how many of us feel about this place- https://youtu.be/lHkPndMLv0E

Farewell, TV Live- you’ve been such a big part of people’s lives and I hope, just like with the blue place, that sometimes we’ll look through the read-only archive and reminisce. Very big loss to the online forum world.

This is Gary Baldy, signing off. No matter what happens or where everyone migrates to, we’ll always remember the sense of community here. Hope everybody has a lovely day.

And finally, a little light hearted-ness, to quote what all of the kids speak like these days, inb4 da forum closes, innit?
Thanks Rob for setting up the successor to the TV Forum in 2021! It's been great. Although I don't post that often I always love to keep up to date with all things TV and this was the best place for it. Definitely going to miss this place...
*plays national anthem then fades to black*
A big thanks to Rob for creating a playground for all of us after TV Forum. Hope to see you all soon at the new place with more contributions that I have made here. Wish you all the best and enjoy the upcoming chapter of television discussions.

Goodbye TV Live Forum, 2021-2022
