I registered and I can't see any subforums.

They were hidden shortly after going on-line, but indeed, these subforums appeared during the first minutes of making the site available, and presumably it will be there for launch.

I’ve joined both TV Talk and Pres Café as @DeMarkay.

It’s been a pleasure to spend seven years collectively on two forums. I remember joining TV Forum as a cocky fourteen, turning fifteen-year-old, and I leave TV Live Forum as a career driven, twenty-two-year-old.

Thanks all!

Like the Nescafé UK Top 40?

I couldn't see the sub-forums once I was approved. (I'm still the same name on Pres Café)

I’ve registered with the same name as here but also can’t see any sub-forums.

I also briefly saw the sub-forums, but not anymore. I don't think there was anything within any of them.

Does anyone know how long it takes for an account to be approved/activated?

I guess I'll join this one, seems like most will go there. Hope we can discuss presenting shifts, that's something that's been missing last few years imo.

Oh and it’s been bliss. Single best thing about here.

Yep, a damn good reason the discussion was banned. I'd definitely appreciate not seeing a return to rota talk.

I think those who want to discuss it, should have a place/thread for it. Those annoyed by it just don't have to go into the thread. It's quite simple and it's strange that it could not have been handled differently, instead of banning it. TV presenters are one of the main reasons many of us are TV geeks, it's not all about astons, graphics etc. Presenting shifts/schedules matter a lot!

Absolutely not. It's creepy and unnecessary.

The level of conversation is usually "X must be on holiday today" or "do you think y is ill, because z is presenting today."

They almost always descend in to discussions about the personal lives of presenters, whether they're ill or not and so on.

I've joined Pres Cafe as Andy, so I guess I'll see you over there as infrequently as usual.
