Oh that’s what DR Open stood for Disaster Recovery, thanks aaron_Scotland for the reply, really appreciate it :-)
The graphics are really nice - the best I've seen for such an event for quite some time.

Here's another article focusing of Timeline's involvement in the Host Broadcaster operation. (I don't think it's been posted in here, apologies if I've missed it)

Yeh same. There is a MUX on 100.5e which makes me wonder if there is a NS4 MUX on 10e or 7e we can't see.
Yeah same here it seems 100.5e seems to have six channels and a games channel I think but nothing in Europe.
That's unusual for 28.2 to carry anything other than DTH isn't it?
Write that down in your copybook now

There have been adhoc OBs on there for a couple years now, NEP use it occasionally, CNN used it a lot during the last Royal Wedding. I think its on a transponder that cannot be used for DTH but maybe someone else knows the technical reason.
I love the main BBC studio. Great location, very colourful and a nice mix of real and virtual.

Is it just the ceiling that is virtual, or are there other elements?

I really like the design of the sofa and table.
Dont know if its just me but the Lawn Bowls feed on the BBC website is missing a lot of frames, jerky

EDIT: And Boxing feed did the same and has totally went to Fault screen now..

It’s hard to say I think it’s all real.
Rugby Sevens briefly fell off air just now, no update to the BBC Sport fault slide yet

Yeh Ive put all 11 sports onto 1 screen and a fair few are falling off air briefly at moments, IP not quite fit for purpose? Lawn Bowls is totally gone now
