The TV Room's Clean Feed will be hosting their own forum in partnership with the TV Pres group of websites, set to go live on Saturday:

Clean Feed @ The TV Room Wrote:[FORUM] Further to our tweet yesterday...we hope to be online by Saturday. The new forum will be run in partnership with colleagues in the http://tvpres.com group of websites.
We'll go live sooner if we can, to allow registrations to get under way.

Always a big fan of groups like this which are often run by 1 or 2 people talking as if they’re a big corporation.

Good luck to them... I hope they don't act as immaturely as they seem to on Twitter. If they are that intolerant of differing opinions, then I can't see them running a forum very well. Still, I hope to be proven wrong. Don't think I'll be signing up there myself - I think it's time for me personally to move on from all of this - but good luck to everyone who does.

This might be the closest thing we have to a natural successor to TV Live Forum - but my feeling is that I'll go wherever the majority seem to be going.

Not really a fantastic sign when some of "those who shall not be named" are congregating in the replies gloating about the demise of TVLF without any form of reprisal from Clean Feed.

On that note, I happened to be searching Twitter for 'TV Live Forum' and came across a very bizarre rant. All I'll say is that it contained precious little of substance. It really is very sad.

It's fair to say if said people are allowed onto the Clean Feed forum, we'll be back to where we've been with both TVF and TVLF soon enough. Either they'll be allowed to make toxic posts, which will make people avoid the forum, or they'll just get banned again when the inevitably repeat what got them banned from both here and the blue place, then relentlessly harrass the people behind the forum as a result (though admittedly, the latter might happen even if they aren't allowed on the forum, these people seem to think they have a right to be able to post on these places, they're so toxic it may well mean setting up a replacement forum is going to become impossible without harrasment from them).

Presumably someone bitter they got banned from here? That seems to be what most of these rants are about. And it's never their fault they get banned either, it's always the fault of either the moderators or other members, never anything to do with their conduct.
The same happened on Digitalspy as well though, which led to their GD and politics forum being closed down. Indeed things there got so bad that I was actually getting people finding my personal social media and email and sending abuse to it, people finding out details of my personal life and posting it to the forum and at least one person finding out where I lived. We're at the position where people seem to think that's a reasonable response to either not agreeing with someone online or getting banned from somewhere. The DS situation actually had/has several "secret" forums which were dedicated to attacking and doxxing members of the forum- I'd actually been a major target of theirs for the best part of 15 years, which was disturbing that they had nothing better in their lives than to hold grudges and obsess over people on internet forums, and for so long. No wonder people find running an internet community to be so stressful and toxic when merely posting to one makes people feel they have the right to treat you like that.
I think it's looking increasingly like this board will be the successor. Best of luck to them.

I did the very same thing, and the amount of nonsense that was being spouted made me wonder if he was the one who shan't be named, but there was a reference that indicated that wasn't the case. Now I dread to think how many people are actually cheering on the utter nonsense Rob is being subjected to, let alone contributing.
It was one of the people who shall not be named, if that helps. Not the most intelligible of writings, in any case. That's all I will say on the matter.
TV Home is part of TV Pres, so at least this group has somebody with experience of running this kind of forum to take advice from, even if Asa is not involved day to day.
Write that down in your copybook now

Whilst it’s heartwarming to see so many new forums being launched, may I make the suggestion that Clean Feed is probably the best option and that ideally we should all migrate there? As Steve said it’s part of a connection of sites and will likely be the most professional of the lot, and a splintering across three or four different forums wouldn’t do any good in my opinion.
Obviously each to their own and there will be various reasons for people deciding where to go, but it does look (as Rob has also said on Twitter) as if the Clean Feed forum is probably the next best thing.

Don't forget that Clean Feed blocked Rob and all of the TV Live accounts, so be careful of that.
Wonderfully weird.

Yes this massively puts me off I'm afraid.
I do not feel I could be a part of any site that has had any part whatsoever in any attacks on Rob or his team. I would contend blocking him on Twitter is a part of that. It's certainly not an act of support, let's put it that way.

Might be the case, but all I am seeing on this forum is one side of the argument. How can everyone make their minds up when most here don’t even know what’s happened fully?
If I remember correctly, the leader of this forum hasn’t been all that squeaky clean throughout, either.

I do have to agree with CentralWest here. I can't speak for anybody's actions. However, it is somewhat one-sided to only consider the actions of Clean Feed when Rob has not been afraid of engaging with people in a less-than-cordial manner, especially on Twitter.
Before TVLF launched, I had my fair share of concerns, especially after a certain comment made during a livestream. It would be wrong for me to bat away any concerns when I had mine when we were last in this situation. However, I think we should all be prepared to give them the same chances as Rob has been given.
