Keeping my political opinions out of it, does anyone else feel like you're watching a news channel in a movie whenever you watch Talk TV rather than an actual news channel? I can't properly describe it, and it doesn't have that "university student" vibe that GBN still has. It's just that something about it seems like what I'm watching isn't real.

The debate looks like the cameras have vaseline smeared over them - everything is rather blurry and washed out. It's like I'm watching a RealPlayer window from 20 years ago expanded to a full screen, rather than a Freeview channel.

On Sky in HD it isn't that bad.

I think the debate is in the piers Morgan studio I would of had him host it when he gets
back to the UK . I'm guessing they couldn't of waited for piers to come back to the UK and host the debate neither truss or sunak would have turned up remember when the government were boycotting gmb when he was on the show. Looks like either the scenery has collapsed or the presenter has fainted and knocked something over? I'm not too sure....Liz Truss looked positively scared by the situation, whatever happened.

What happened to the debate? Was listening to the audio then it cut out and went to the filler music.

I wonder what happened, as Juicy Joe said Liz Truss looked very shocked. Seemed like something crashed / fell.

The website stream is down and it appears the YouTube stream has gone private. It was unlisted during the start of the debate.

The BBC's news feed suggests a podium has been knocked over. Going by Liz Truss' reaction, it looked a hell of a lot worse than that.
