In terms of product placement there was a period where Aldi was blazened on everything at least in the uk and there was a very surreal scene earlier this year with someone going to have their eyes tested in spec savers and the girl in the ad being on an ad in the shop window

The BBC make some very questionable scheduling decisions at this time of year, but that one is quite something.

I finding some of the comments a bit rude…
It was just an innocent suggestion seeing as both broadcasters had a part of Neighbours history in the UK which will be coming to an end, so would of been a one off, maybe to some it seems silly - sorry to offend. Anyway I’m sure it will appear on BritBox at some point where all four uk broadcasters collaborate in that service,

Apart from the fact BritBox is for British content and Neighbours is Australian...

It’s the fact that existing deals with UK broadcasters probably wouldn’t cover it, that makes it unlikely to happen. But the fact it’s not a British programme in itself would be unlikely to preclude it from the service if they thought there was an audience for it and they got a good deal on it. I think realistically if ITV Studios Australia was making dramas, it’s highly likely that they’d appear on the service for example.

In the last few episodes we have had the return of Harold Bishop, Shane Ramsey, Mal Kennedy, Angie Rebecchi, Izzy Hoyland and a preview of Joe Mangle on a video call to Harold.
I hope there are still some surprises to come! I’d like to see all the Kennedys back together - Billy with Anne, and Libby with Ben. Not sure how realistic that is seeing as Jesse Spencer and Felix Mallard are now in the US and I think Kim Valentine sued the production, although I think she returned after the issue was settled. I did like that Glen mentioned Lucy looked like 3 different people when going through the photo album!

UKTV probably the most likely destination for a rerun, either Drama or W I would guess. They'd need to start pretty swiftly off the back of it ending as six months down the line people may not care so much.

I think it would still be nice for there to be a gesture somewhere on the BBC at the time of the final episode. Neighbours has been an influential part of British pop culture for many years (although admittedly less so recently) and it would be sportsmanlike of them, for want of a better word, to reference it in some way and it's time at the BBC

Which in UK terms equates to the episodes starting on Monday (10 in the regular slot and the finale).
Is a bit odd that Toadie must have got married a few times over the years and nobody outside the street turns up and now suddenly everyone he's ever met is coming to his wedding.
