On the "Nations and Regions" wall at the end of Six and Ten bulletins, there's a black woman who is in the window two from the right in the bottom row.  Does anyone know who she is and what region she covers?

Thanks.  There doesn't seem to be many black/mixed race presenters or reporters in the BBC regions; the only others I can think of are Tolu Adeoye and Tarah Welsh (London), Jenny Kumah (South West) and Ian Palmer (South East).

One thing I like about the slightly shorter than some would like main wall in B is the sense of depth it gives with the features behind.

SET has another black female presenter who sometimes covers the short bulletins, Yetunde Yusuf.

I’d say BBC London is diverse - Asad Ahmed, Alice Bhanukravi - surely the main thing is that the presenters are in post because they are good of their job not simply because of their cultural background

Are the regional hosts in the same spot every night or do they shuffle them around a bit?

I think they are always the same position - Peter Levy (and it’s 9/10 always Peter Levy) is always in the bottom right corner

I would agree but knowing how there is always someone to get outraged, I wouldn’t be surprised if a 
vocal campaigner/activist makes an issue out of this at some stage

And yes if they turned the tower screen into the number 10 door Huw could stand in front of that instead and therefore he’d actually be heard

That's exactly why I went searching for the case study from the creators (Jago design) to see if they'd posted any pics of the set in election mode.   Will probably display Big Ben at 10pm too.

TBH though even with the size of this studio I don't quite see where they'd do the secondary interviews (previously done by Paxman then I think Neil, really not sure who would do them now Maitliss has gone), as surely the curved screen, touchscreen and mammoth screen would all be used for graphical illustrations, so might they do these elsewhere within NBH?
