Nothing is going to happen, the media are wasting their time. As they have done so on a number of occasions previously. Unless this is part of an election, which is the only outcome Boris will play with.

Think it's becoming increasingly unlikely that the PM is going to resign tonight. That'll probably force trigger resignations from minsters in the next few hours and days. The 1922 Committee is to meet on Monday with a view to changing the rules on confidence votes if he's not gone by then so that could be another big news evening.
