I notice Channel 5 are going big on daytime, as there’s also a 80 episode order of “Holiday Home Show”.

I do wonder when they’ll announce another gameshow? As Eggheads does seem to be a successful steal for them

In terms of gameshows, I believe Channel 5 were looking at 15 to 1 as a companion to Eggheads. I personally think they should approach Sony and perhaps revive Wheel of Fortune or if ITV turn it down perhaps Jeopardy!

Rolling In It shelved for 2022, may come back in the future. Surprised that we get another series of Moneyball and not this.

I'd like to think it's fate was sealed by a roll of a coin. Agree though considering the first series was a surprise hit and the second was solid enough that it's a surprise it isn't getting a third when not one but two weaker lower rated formats are.

Child's Play on Epic Gameshow, dear oh dear oh dear. Something a bit different with it not being standard Q&A but very boring.

Very dull - and really it was basic Q&A just with a few videos of kids.

If they wanted an Aspel format from the 80s Give Us a Clue would have been a far better choice.

Just in the US at the moment, and caught a couple of games shows here that I would expect to see in the UK in the not too distant future.

The Generation Gap is quite similar to previous shows with grandparent and grandchild teaming up to answer questions. The questions are set to be difficult for them but more obvious to people between their ages. It also ends with one of the best 'twists' I've seen on telly in recent years. I won't give it away, but it kept me and my partner watching through a long advert break. Obviously how long that keeps interest after the first few episodes will be interesting to see.

The other one is Claim to Fame where a group of people, all with famous relatives live in a house together. They have to guess who is related to who. They get to guess based on the results of challenges. Is hosted by two Jonas's (one of them not in the band) and is also well made. They tease the famous relative and reveal a few to the audience, but not all.

Surely it wouldn't cost them much to knock up a studio in the USA - basically 3 podiums and a big TV screen!

This is for American TV, so of course they'll want actual physical studio audiences for it, and for audience members to applaud, whoop and cheer as loud as possible.

It’s being produced by the UK team and RuPaul is doing the UK celebrity editions so makes sense really.
