No problem really - they've just got a number of episodes to show whenever they get round to screening them. Whether they repeat some already aired episodes remain to be seen - I'm guessing like a lot of US dramas on E4 lately it's ended up going out at 2am so it should at least get a better slot than that. I suspect it's only being moved to E4 Extra to give it a bit of new content at launch.

Batwoman already finished in America - E4 isn't up to date! There's no excuse for them not already finishing it.

The excuse is nobody watches it and whilst fast-tracking US content may be the norm now channels still need content for the rest of the summer. It's more useful to them a few months later.

Hopefully E4 having a second channel to play with will result in more logical timeslots for US imports such as the Adult Swim block. I've been waiting ages for season 2 of Tuca and Bertie to come to the UK and only just found out it started on E4 a few weeks ago at about 2am. I know it's not that big of a deal when All 4 exists - they probably do it that way because they expect more people to watch these kinds of show on streaming rather than linear - but surely it would make more sense for them to be on TV when people might actually be watching it.

I've been out of the loop for a bit, but let me get this straight: They're basically closing the BOX channel, and moving 4Music, and then opening E4 2? OK.

So, BOX Hits will close and be replaced by 4Music. Where 4Music was before, E4 Extra will be opened there.

Technically these are idents we've already seen, albeit now announcer-less. Although, someone on Twitter said these idents are like Dave "but on acid".

E4 Extra's schedule has been somewhat released and... erm, it just seems to be 4Music but with less music? Someone might say "Oh, what did you expect?" but no, I checked E4 and they're keeping the repeats of US comedies and sitcoms during the daytime, with I assume E4 Extra carrying that torch in the late hours? Eh.
I was somewhat expecting something more grandiose (I mean, the repeat of The Inbetweeners Movie is probably the big standout) but it just seems to be repeats of the repeats. I kinda hope they somewhat bring back old E4 classics (bar Friends, obviously), and I did discover that Scrubs, something which was a bit of a mainstay in the 2000's scheduling of E4, but more along the lines of programming that otherwise isn't broadcast often on TV anymore? (i.e: Trigger Happy TV, Fonejacker, School of Comedy)?
You can currently see the schedule up to the 7th of July on All 4's website: https://www.channel4.com/tv-guide/2022/06/27
I think the only things labelled as 'New' in that first week are Dark Angels and Legendary, which are both unscripted shows that could be referred to as 'reality', so it's slightly odd that they're not on E4. But the announcement for E4 Extra did say it will have unscripted entertainment programmes as well as comedy, so I suppose they fall into that category. They're on consecutive days at 11pm and 12am respectively, which is classic E4 - put these premieres of new shows late at night while filling the primetime schedule with Big Bang Theory repeats.
As mentioned in the initial announcement, there's also Ninja Warrior Japan, which is on in the daytime every day from Saturday onwards. I'm not sure if that's been on E4 or 4Music before but it seems like a nice addition to the schedule to be fair.
Ninja Warrior Japan is new to E4 Extra. Sky Replay were the last channel to air them especially after Challenge stopped airing (New or Repeats) episodes in 2020.

Well as a Ninja Warrior fan myself, it's great that E4 Extra is showing Ninja Warrior in the daytime, certainly something interesting for viewers to watch.
Ninja Warrior has not been shown on either 4Music or E4, as it was on Challenge and later Sky Replay - Channel 4 did not have the rights to show it.

The Wipeout reruns must have done OK for 4Music to remain in place, so it's probably what has led to this acquisition.
