I've only seen two Piers moments trend.  One was the trans activist and the other was yesterday's interview with RMT Leader Mick Lynch.  In both instances, it was Morgan who came off worse for it.

The 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' Twitter page posted a section of the interview where Morgan asked Lynch repeatedly why he had a character from Thunderbirds as his profile picture on Facebook. If THAT was considered to be the highlight of the exchange which they wanted to share with the world on social media, I'm jolly pleased I didn't bother to sit through the whole "interview". Jesus wept.

Give it time, they'll poach Susanna , axe The News Desk and expand his show, slowly recreating GMB.

The Guardian reporting that a source has indicated they are trying to poach Susanna to join Piers at Talk TV, something I suggested they might do back in May.

Piers' shtick worked best at GMB because he had a team around him to bounce off. It may work, it may not. One wonders what Piers thinks of it all, given he's meant to be the star name.

Would Susannah jump ship though? Presumably they'd have to offer a substantial pay increase but she'd be somewhere that's a much smaller less resourced production with a lot fewer viewers and less job security.

I don't know if Erron Gordon is regretting following Piers over, but in his case he's got the setting up a new studio and launching a new programme under his belt

I doubt it that Susanna will leave GMB - why leave a show which gets a fairly decent daily audience on a major TV channel with what some have said is a very large salary she has at ITV, and jump to Talk TV for a bigger salary but an audience the size of an Oxfordshire town?

Hope Susanna is not thinking about committing career suicide, no matter what money they throw at her. Morgan is done and dusted and he's in serious self-denial right now, thinking he's still relevant. Even Dan Walker owned him on Twitter today.

What’s perhaps most remarkable is that none of the 3 talkTV programmes have even been subtly tweaked in any way since their launches (excluding the line-up for The Talk due to Sharon Osborne’s alleged unavailability).

Pick whichever TV megaflop you like: Daybreak, early GB News, early TV-am, and changes were made. It demonstrates panic to the viewers, but also a desire to survive. In the cases of the latter two examples, those measures sort of worked.

To be fair it has only been two months - they'll likely hold off pressing the panic button till September.   Also the three hour schedules means there isn't much room to manoeuvre- nobody for example doing unexpectedly well in an 11am slot or at the weekend who it might be worth promoting.

There has been reports of a new Jeremy Kyle show which I suspect will just end up being the summer replacement for Piers.

The new Jeremy Kyle show's intended to be a permanent fixture. He's leaving his radio show to do it.
