TV Live Forum Welcome back

The current Public Service Announcement thread is a good example of the problem. The 4th post by Spencer has a YouTube embed the correct width, the rest are too wide
For the time being, could members use [video=youtube][/video] tags for posting videos until I get the responsive-ness sorted?

Some good news...

I think I've fixed the YouTube responsive-ness with a different plugin. I'll test it further later this morning, and if all is fine, I'll put the finishing touches to the design update, and it'll be live either today or tomorrow.

Just noticed a glitch in the BBC Miscellaneous thread.

That's not supposed to be an embed, it's a link to an MP4 file. As a result the text "mp4 video" is missing, and the video overlaps the rest of the text!

Also, there's a blank post in the same thread, apparently quoting a post with an embedded tweet causes the entire post to fail to display.
They should be fixed with the new forum update coming shortly.

You'll notice a few small tweaks to avatars, icons and other little design tweaks that are being rolled out now ahead of the new design being released later this week.

Thanks, I've tidied up my post to take advantage of the embed now working. Should look better now.
I'm seeing a few blank posts around the forum, I wonder if anyone else has seen it or mentioned it.

A space is there for a post, there's a username and avatar there, the box is just totally blank! Example below -

I've seen it a few times aswell. It could be something to do with the new embed system? Not sure.

Try quoting those posts, I bet you'll notice something similar to what I mentioned earlier.

EDIT: Yeah, just checked, the screenshotted post includes a quoted tweet.
I've made some adjustments to the embed tools, so they should work OK now.

Further adjustments are due to be made today ahead of the switch to the new theme, so if there's something missing or not looking right, THAT is the reason why.

Is anyone else seeing duplicate number of pages under every topic?

Yes, that's been reported. Will be fixed when the new design launches, don't panic.

Small bug report, which you may be aware of - if I use a url tag to create an inline link to an external site, the link previewer takes over and replaces my text.

See this post for an example.
I'll take a look at that tomorrow, just about to head to work.

Sorry for this (I know you already got enough on your plate!) but Metropol, TV Forum links etc. are missing from the home page (unless i've missed something..)
