Launch BBC News: Studio B
The view straight on at the desk to the newsroom the weakest. Everything else has looked great
Bulletin obviously looks very different but also has a different feel and tone to even last week. Before it basically felt like another hour of the News Channel but just with Huw presenting whereas now it has the feel of a flagship bulletin.

Does look a lot brighter that’s for sure

I thought this looked a little like VR, even though it isn't. Perhaps it's the bold colours and sharp lines. Not a bad thing though - I thought the animation here was particularly good.

Just hoping they're not telling porkies.
Seems like a long wait...
Forgive my ignorance but are the actual cameras (not the pedestals they are fitted to) the same as those used in Studio E? The images seem brighter than before, as others have noticed.

A bit too bright - it’s hurting my eyes!

That sums up BBC branding nicely.   They should have just ditched the box and the titles completely and had a wide shot of the studio with the icon animation on the screens.
@Brekkietweets
The background behind Huw at the desk looked a little overblown and washed out. Doesn't work particularly well, despite allegedly being originated in 4K.

Very long. I think they said spring 2022 in a previous tweet. but apart from that the new studio is brilliant
Call me old fashioned But I don't get what Huw walking across the studio to Faisal Islam adds to the story about the economy?
Oooh a live walk across the studio... does it work?
I think Huw is sweating it’s all that walking around, it’s giving Huw a sweat
Huw walking over to the newswall there is proper TVF/TV live red meat.
I do wonder if like with most relaunches that sort of thing gets quietly shelved after a few months a la Sky News 2005 with presenters walking down stairs and running around the studio during the TOTH
They don't seem to be going for making it look like a live -newsroom shot in the background here, feels kind of off
