Launch BBC News: Studio B

They could do with a coat of arms on that central wall!

I personally think the set will darken as the sun sets, and go light when it’s daytime.

Have I missed something, but why did they not mention that the new studio will house the 1pm News? They only mentioned the 6pm and 10pm bulletins, so does this mean the 1pm News goes to another studio?

Sorry if this has already been answered.

Some sharp angles in the camera tracks around the desk, if that's what they are.

I'm struggling to see the big B that's been mentioned?

The 1 is staying in E, at least for now.
Write that down in your copybook now

My 1st impressions of it on screen before I made my 1st floor on it was that my jaws nearly dropped to the floor. The new look Studio B looks absolutely outstanding. To my eyes it looks like a huge evolution has taken place for BBC News.

The potential for this studio space to strengthen the new era of this news service has definitely exceeded my expectations. I would never have thought it looks that good at all. It really looks unreal in the positive sense of the word.

All we have to think about now is to think of the potential of the other news studios to evolve into something like Studio B in the future. If we see something like a mini Studio B in the other BBC News studios. It would be amazing.

I don't like it, I LOVE IT!!! Looks like there will be a new look, despite the globe staying. The number 10 is in Reith, and there is a boxless BBC News logo on the walls of the studio!

Is it really? I hadn't noticed...

Although not been fully shown yet, it'll be shame to lose the live action happening in the newsroom behind the presenter. However, the studio does look great, the titles better be updated for this and we'll see more in a few seconds.

The coat of arms belongs to a certain era of BBC News though (1993-1999)

Looks really good. Love the big B - which I presume is for Studio B - and the big 10.

It's all real. AR-capable, but that's all real.

Finally a decent screen in the national studio - glad to see the back of those three screens with the biggest black borders TV's have ever had. Looks great.
