The Voice UK is asking for applications for the 2023 series over on their Facebook page. I wonder if this means filming will still take place towards the back end of this year?

Would expect it to air before I Can See Your Voice and Strictly as I can't see ITV holding it over to 2023 because Starstruck will be back but the show is filler nowadays so they could throw it out anywhere. Saying that, not sure how much mileage Starstruck has in it.
Epic Gameshow is back on the 18th. Just four episodes this time - Play Your Cards Right, Strike It Lucky, Bullseye and Child's Play. Think the latter will get a series out of it.

It's such a random choice you might be right. I do wish they'd take a couple to series rather than stick with the "Epic" structure. It's annoying they haven't done a second episode of Take Your Pick as I thought in the first run that, along with Strike It Lucky, suited Alan best.
As for The Voice I don't think Strictly is something to avoid as it usually airs from 8.30, so even later than The X Factor did. Indeed if ITV are as tired of it as it seems it could even be fodder to air against Strictly.

I thought the Strike it Lucky one was the best episode by far. The Bullseye one was just torture - anyone who lasted more than about 10 minutes I think deserves a medal.
I have watched a couple of episodes of Epic Gameshow and, I don’t know, I just found it a chore to sit through. I don’t get the appeal or the purpose.

Which seems odd. Look at Gameshow Marathon. That did much the same thing, different gameshow format every week. Off the back of it, Family Fortunes was brought back, and Challenge picked up Bullseye for a new series. Epic Gameshow hasn't had that effect yet, unfortunately.

Mr & Mrs was another from Gameshow Marathon. That and FF probably got commissioned because they could have celebs. The Price Is Right with Joe Pasquale fizzled out in daytime, part of the problem that's been mentioned before is some shows are too synonymous with a presenter, possibly why none have emerged from Epic Gameshow. Les Dennis with FF, yeah maybe, but celebs made it fresh.

I think Brucie is also the reason any Generation Game reboot is generally doomed from the start. That's why I thought Take Your Pick and surprisingly Strike it Lucky worked so well for Alan as they felt like he didn't really have to live up to Des O'Connor or even Barrymore, whose off screen woes have kind of pushed out memories of his on screen style.
Will be interesting if they have an audience for any of these as I believe at least one of them is held over from the previous run.

3-2-1 could be an interesting reboot. Wouldn't rely too much on having to live up to Ted Rodgers, and to make a Dusty Bin wouldn’t be particularly expensive nowadays. (The original one was designed by Emmerdale SFX man Ian Rowley I think?)
