I’d be surprised if she presented on Amazon. She has been easing off on the BBC for a while so I can’t imagine her taking up major hosting commitments elsewhere.

She was also pretty cheesed off at being sacked from QoS by the BBC so I wonder if that was a factor in her decision to leave.

I had a feeling this might have been on the cards as everyone of a certain age seems to be retiring/quitting their roles on TV at the moment, having taken stock after COVID.

Wimbledon certainly won’t be the same without Sue and the personal connections she has with many of the ex-players that are part of the coverage

End of an era but the right time to go, and glad she was able to go on her terms considering another deal was on the table.

It will almost certainly be Clare replacing her as a like for like replacement. Replacing Clare might be where they take a risk and the choice not so obvious - Lee McKenzie would be the safe bet but I think they may look elsewhere.

Katherine Downes has presented the Australian Open for the BBC so could be in with a shout.

Does Kat Downes do any commentary for Wimbledon. I suspect that might be more likely where they use her in the future.

She did do so last year, so will presumably carry on in that role this year.

Another possible name to mention is Isa Guha, who it has been reported will be on air at Wimbledon in some capacity this year.

I’ve thought for a while Isa could become an all-round presenter across sports (just as Sue did) - really rate her.

Interesting that Sky seem to be countering LIV Golf by having live streams of their coverage of the PGA Canadain Open and the DP World Tour/LET Scandinavian Mixed for free on YouTube. Those two streams combined currently have around 4 000 viewers, with the LIV stream at over 50 000 (albeit globally and with a less accessed alternative broadcast in the UK at least).

The graphics of LIV Golf are oddly porpotioned IMO. The graphics from the action look a little small, whilst the graphic for Arlo White for example is a little big. Not the best choice of colours either but it's okay.

Sky often put live streams of certain holes of the PGA and DP tours and world feed coverage of the LPGA/Ladies European Tour on YouTube; I’m not sure this is necessarily directly linked to the Saudi International? Normally they are geoblocked quite heavily outside of the U.K.

And those graphics for the new tour remind me of the Hundred package.

She struggles when talking to a count (and therefore appears a little uneasy towards the end of a broadcast) but is otherwise superb, I agree. Will look forward to seeing her at Wimbledon, whilst missing her at the third test.

I think talking to a count is definitely one of those things you get much better at with experience though - I remember it took me a good while to get the knack of being able to sound completely natural hitting zero. Quite a skill.
