The test version of the BBC News website still has the older Gill Sans Lambie Nairn BBC News favicon on Firefox's mobile browser. It's more of a mixed picture of Gill Sans and Reith favicons for BBC Reel, Worklife, Future, Culture & Travel when using the same browser. Although the website for BBC Sport on Firefox mobile does not have it's own favicon at all. It uses a standard BBC favicon in Gill Sans.

I feel that this is slowly turning into a "wrong BBC logo thread" which is completely missing the point of the original aim of the thread.

If we could NOT document every tiny change, and stick to significant developments only, that would be appreciated.

Couldn’t agree more. There’s a plethora of reasons there hasn’t been a change, I imagine the main reason is cost, If they can re-use last years titles/presentation then they probably will.

I note that BBC News UK and BBC News World have both updated their profile pictures, but BBC Breaking News hasn't - though all three have updated covers! Wouldn't want to do them all at the same time BBC would we!?

BBC Breaking News still not updated this morning. I am now convinced there is a policy that the old logo MUST be retained on a certain number of assets until a certain date, probably later this year. This can’t be a mistake.

Just saying, I think the previous BBC News logo on images worked better as that was more discernable on images like this as that had a red background.
