A small step-up from interviewing the Taliban!
Not sure if Vanessa understood what had happened as she didn’t seem to get Jeremy’s “are we on the right show” quip shortly after.

Vanessa also occasionally covers others' radio programmes during holidays - she's presented a few weeks' worth of Jeremy Vine on Radio 2, for example. Notably, she was down to present JV on the day on which Prince Phillip's passing was announced. She was giving details of upcoming discussion topics on that day's programme and inviting listeners' calls before being yanked off air mid-sentence.
"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."

Yes, there's so many channels that not all of them will be watched to a measurable level (I always think that there will always be someone, somewhere watching any channel on the EPG but of course it's just not in a Barb household). However as the article says its the profile of the programme that makes it notable.
Piers Morgan/Talk TV and before it GB News both launched with big budgets, a lot of publicity and also a lot of bragging from massive egos about how they were going to shake things up. Neither lived up to the hype when they launched. But it will pass and even if ratings don't pick up the attention and jokes about low ratings will soon move to the next new ventre.
A little late with this but Adam Boulton was introduced by Jayne Secker as a 'political commentator' on Sky News just before the Queen's Speech. I know he did overnight local election coverage last week on Times Radio, but this shows he's not exclusive to News UK. Seemed right at home!
