I will disagree with you on that actually. Maybe it's just me but it's just so iconic to listen to when it comes to election time and I can never get over 'KEY RACE ALERT'. Feels a bit different with Wolf not doing it now and Jake Tapper being the main presenter. I have nothing wrong with Jake presenting but I already miss Wolf making the big announcements.

I still like CNN's election theme. It's somewhat danceable, and yes, I'm weird. But it's not the WORST thing ever.

A few articles covered CNN's upfront event today. Notable developments:
- Chris Wallace to Sunday evenings and HBO Max.
- A new "CNN Sunday" block including a long-form show a la 60 minutes.
- Searching for Mexico will premiere on CNN.
- A new (or revamped) morning show in the fall.

Sounds very promising and right in line with where Chris Licht would step. He's an ex-Morning Joe and CBS This Morning guy so naturally he'd tackle New Day first. The CNN Sunday block is an interesting development. Pure speculation that the new show and Chris Wallace's show cut into Pamela Brown's hours so that there's still time for the Original Series type shows. Hopefully Pamela is included in the new CNN Sunday, or better yet finds a spot in Prime Time.

If Chris talks about wanting to shine a light on correspondents in the US and around the world you have to wonder why so many CNNI anchors are leaving. Will we see the rebirth or the gradual dismantling of CNNI?

I wish they could bring the two hosts back into the same studio permanently. It feels very cold when Berman is in NY and Keilar in DC on separate little boxes on screen. Same for the weekend editions.

I 100% agree with you. Seeing Erica Hill alongside John Berman in the same studio this morning just made sense.
