I do prefer the new logo when it is used with this graphic. Unable to quote correctly.

Which programme comes from where someone find the logo's Animation?

Anyhoo, BBC America has just updated its logo:

We know. It appeared on a Doctor Who ad and was posted here a few weeks ago.

Yes, but it is now used on-screen.

1988 theme plays, but the melody at the end is the Tagesschau theme.</t>
Now that's funny.

I'm wondering whether the delay in the Weather app icon roll out is due to the fact that while News, Sport, iPlayer and Sounds all look decent colour on black, Weather's blue on black may look slightly out of place for a weather app? Perhaps arguments are going on about it?

I thought that, although then you do have DarkSky which has exactly that

Rather easy to brighten a blue colour.

I think its more likely they were planning to Sync with News' rebrand, which has been delayed.  And a rebrand would need to update all the weather graphic templates used nationally, internationally, and locally.

The Weather App may also undergo more changes which are being worked on.

But the News App is using it - it's just Weather and Bitesized which don't have it and it looks rubbish as it is.

I think Weather looks OK as an app...

Today’s ‘only the BBC could do this’ example from the launch of the new series of Silent Witness.

I mean, how does no one look at this and think it’s not quite right:

BBC Breakfast updated their twitter - featuring a massive logo in the banner.

I genuinely want to like the new branding, and I think it looks pretty decent on the TV channels’ presentation, but the more I see it elsewhere, the more I think it looks cheap, garish, unsophisticated and basic - especially when it’s just the logo, text and a solid, plain, coloured background. A lot of it has an air of ‘my first mock’ (one star) about it.
I picked up the 4K Blu-ray of The Green Planet the other day. In terms of the BBC logo, the packaging is a bit of a mess. It's got the new logo on the front cover, and on the discs themselves, but the spine and rear cover both use the old logo. (To be fair, the spine logo is actually BBC Earth.)

They mess up the mishmash use of old BBC Studios logo and new corporate BBC logo. However, we think given their parent company used the new logo since last year, they should using a new BBC Studios logo as clearly seen on Wikipedia and more importantly endcaps of many programmes.

Absolutely, I second everything that Spencer has said
