How well known is Piers in Australia? They'd have seen him on CNN and presumably Britain's Got Talent, but does he have much of a following and reputation there?
Or is it just a case of the audience liking something new and different on Sky News Australia?

Tuned into Talk TV on YouTube, 500 viewers and they are discussing Sharon Osbourne returning home.
Farage getting 1500 views currently.
Adam Boulton is on Talk TV at the moment.
I'm guessing the lightning is a little different tonight, because everyone on The News Desk's panel has quite the green glow.

Piers Morgan's show feels like it could just be a stand alone show for any TV channel. A weekly edition airing on Channel 5 for example could probably bring in more viewers for a weekly edition, than four shows over a week on a new channel combined.
I feel the four night a week schedule of Piers will be too much for the viewing public to stand.
Vanessa Feltz in for Sharon.
From Popbitch, which had a fair few Talk TV stories in the run up to the launch:
Is Sharon Osbourne about to steal Andrew Neil's crown for Shortest On-Air Stint? He managed eight shows at GB News before taking a break that he promised to return from – but never did. There's well-placed whispers suggesting that Sharon might be taking a similar route out after just three.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see Piers back doing programmes on one of main channels in a year or two not because he'll have left TalkTV but to supplement it. Clarkson and Hammond are doing stuff outside of The Grand Tour so it's not something that can be ruled out.
