From public statements they've done what they're going to do. News UK has always maintained it's going to be 3-4 hours of TV and the rest simulcast; there's certainly no public plans to make further changes.

I can't say any of the above issues affect my life or even crosses my thoughts, the vast majority of people are the same. But while they're stressing about trans people and toilets or sexy M&Ms and the like because Dan Wootten or Tucker Carlson tells them they're important, they're missing the actual issues that really do affect them. People aren't oppressed by making others more equal, its being done by those who tell you that!
The present government are using the same tactics of course, who cares about their law breaking or cost of living when the real enemy is Channel 4, or female MPs crossing their legs?
Oh, I agree that they're connected definitely but my point comes down to how you describe yourself, for example. I want many of the same things that "woke" people want but I quite often disagree with their theory and approach.
The right does get themselves into a tizzy about drag queens in children's shows (despite the fact that Britain has a history of drag going back centuries), Harry Styles wearing traditional female clothing (despite the fact that UK pop stars have done the whole androgyny thing going back before Bowie), LGBT M&Ms (corporations have supported various causes for a long time now), and so on. When they do, it lets their argument down and allows the woke quite rightly to claim they're obsessing over trivia.
Having lived through the "PC" and "woke" eras, I agree there are many similarities but, to my perception, the "woke" era demands much more "purity" than PC ever did. Even back in the day, I thought PC language was more about being polite and respectful and I generally supported it.
And while I do take your well-made point that governments get away with murder and why aren'[t the media obsessing about that, my reply would be a) that they do to a large extent (partygate was been a big headline for a number of months now) and b) they've got 24hrs' worth of broadcasting to fill.
Just a polite reminder we're here to discuss the presentation of the channel, rather than the channel's content.
The Roku app still hasn't been updated and the TalkTV stream isn't on there, I haven't got the iOS app so not sure if that's changed.
It's a shame Piers' studio is only used for a few hours a day. I do wonder if/when we might see it being used more for other programming.

Good start for Piers Morgan but I imagine be probably fall back to 100,000-200,000.
The Talk got 44k (0.3%).
54% of Piers' audience was aged over 65.

Interesting on iOS you've now got a TalkTV app and a TalkRadio app. Both have been rebranded and have the new logo and colours etc.
Looking at the app history, it seems like they may have launched the TV app with the Radio's stream a few months ago? Presumably knowing they will rebrand, but again it all seems a little bit messy in terms of having 2 apps and 2 brands. It's all one service, you're either watching via TV or listening via radio

Always makes me laugh when you see these triumphant "[whatever number] of people watched my first show!" announcements.
Of course they did - it's brand new - people are naturally curious and will tune in to see what it's like.
I watched the start of Piers' show last night to have a gander at the set and the graphics and then thought 'yep, it's pretty much what I thought it would be' and put something decent on instead.
Tell me six months into your show what your ratings are like and then I'll care.
"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."

Piers has always been like that, he used to regularly tweet about GMB getting close to BBC Breakfast all the day or that Life Stories did well but not putting into context. He poked fun at Dan Walker joining Channel 5 even though Channel 5 has a much higher reach than TalkTV ever will.
A horrible drop off between Piers and The Talk.
I guess it will be like GB News where there is elevated interest for one programme (Farage / Morgan) and everything else rates low.

I know TalkTV and TalkRadio have their own apps, but I think it's a glaring omission to not have the radio option on the TV app. It'd make it easier if you're out but can't watch the video to have to option to simply stream the radio station instead.
While a lot of the tv output has been of a fixed camera on the radio presenter behind the mic, I've been impressed with the use of video clips during the simulcast.
