The Game Show Thread
I think it's commissioned but Ranvir Singh has a new riddle based gameshow, Riddiculous, starting soon which I assume will slot into the 3pm slot.

Looks like they've finally given In for A Penny its own title sequence.
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines
Romeo and Duet was about as awful as expected, nice set though

It does make you wonder what goes through the head of ITV sometimes when they get rid of Take Me Out and then just develop something like this which is basically Take Me Out meets The Voice, except the studio audience can see both sides so were rather influential in choosing the 'duets' (and I don't think they were too interested in the singing whilst doing so either!)

it was made for the first series (and was on YouTube for that period) but for some reason they have never used it in the main show.

is there are particular reason for why a lot of ITV entertainment shows have no title sequences. BGT is a good example, it hasn’t had a proper once since 2013.

1.9m for Romeo & Duet. Ouch.

No surprise at all - it just looked awful. Not seen it so don't know if Oti was any good but would probably have been better played for laughs on ITV2 with a comedian overseeing things.

6.1m though for BGT, so nice to see something top the ratings for the day with more than 4m viewers, even though the show has issues of it's own.

Looks like The Games will be the first week of May with tickets now available for White Water Rafting on the Monday and Diving on the Wednesday, filming on the Olympic Park.

Is this the a reboot of the Channel 4 show of the same name, or just a similar concept with a similar logo and the same name?
I think it is a reboot of C4's version.

*Channel 4 show rebooted by ITV?*
Ah, that'll explain why this was on the big screens in the Velodrome today (and there were a bunch of people with ITV passes milling about!)

They're recording two of the events next week although I assume it's because those events are too difficult to do live.

I always take Stool Pigeon on Bothers Bar with a pinch of salt but apparently Channel 5 are looking for another gameshow. The one mentioned was Fifteen to One.

Personally I'd prefer a show that hasn't been revived yet like Wheel of Fortune or perhaps a new game show format. I've always thought Hard Quiz would be great but it's more of a BBC Two/Channel 4 type show than Channel 5.
100% wouldn't be a bad idea. Cheap to make and differs greatly from other quizzes in that there's no faffing about getting to know contestants etc.
