Pre-Launch News UK to launch talkTV in 2022
James Whale said on twitter he is back between 12 - 1am, and 3 hours live on Saturday.

Seems daft to break up a live radio show for repeated content. Seems the opposite of what a radio station should be doing at that time of night.
The looped promo seems to have been replaced with a Countdown timer on TalkTV now.

Agree - especially given the Friday night is a repeat of a 'best of' show. It should surely be placed at midnight if anywhere.

I also find it a bit strange they're repeating The Talk at 4am. But I guess it saves the repeat going at midnight after Piers and stops the need to extend either overnights or early breakfast.

For context, GB News had a two hour slot average of 156,500 for Farage's version.   The first hour of the interview was reported to be 208,500.   Morgan has had blanket coverage including front pages of Murdoch titles.

Farage or Neil? The figure I found for Neil on the launch night was 157,000 (which 156,500 rounds to).

The number for Farage seems to be 107,000 (these are average not peak) for his first show.

I'm quoting figures for Farage's interview with Trump in December, in reply to Meteor asking if there would be much interest.

Are you sure James Whale isn't now down to 1 hour? Which is then repeated at midnight?

James is now a 60 minute show from Thursday to Saturday at 10pm.   The overnight show starts at midnight from now on.

I don't know what they're doing from 11-midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings.  It may well be a best of Piers.

He's in a three hour slot 10pm-1am Thursday to Saturday, but on Thursdays and Fridays he loses the middle hour to a Morgan repeat.  Darryl Morris is on overnight from 1am.  Petrie Hoskin starts midnight on the other four days.
From what I've read in the Guardian report, the 10-11 slot with Daisy McAndrew appears to be temporary as they've been piloting a satirical format and none have worked.
I do wonder if Piers is going to tweet the ratings of his new show since they're not going to the sort of numbers he was able to tweet out about GMB.

Oh of course expect all the usual ratings spin, he won't be able to resist that.

I heard on the radio that Daisy McAndrew is the first show from the new look 'Radio' studio.  The radio station is audio-only today pending the 7pm launch.
No-one want to venture a guess of number of viewer tonights? Average for Morgan; less than 200k I reckon.
Anyone noticed that the GB News and Talk TV apps are more or less a carbon copy of each other? Even the settings formats are exactly the same! I'm using Android.
Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but it seems that the Talk Radio brand isn't going anywhere and has a new logo in line with the Talk TV one.

Kyle is on with Osbourne at 9pm (TV) and McAndrew at 10pm (Radio) along with Newton Dunn and Graham. Seems like GB News with presenters appearing on each others shows!

Not sure if this is a studio already used by TalkRadio but it seems to be the set for 'The News Desk'
Also features TLS in the background which is nice to see!

I think this prog will eventually settle at 200,000 to 300,000, but might get a 500,000 average on opening night with a peak nearer 0.8m? As time goes on the Talk TV public relations people will talk up the number of clicks their clips get (as GB News do). Plus they can add their foreign TV viewer ratings to the spin.
Given the first show is in 4 hours, do we know who the other 4 panelists are for The Talk tonight ?
