Not really a comparison, as All4 make a point of themselves being free. ITVX will not be free.
Well both will have a free and paid level and it may mean All4 can no longer position themselves as the "UK's biggest free streaming service".

I note that the Presented by… idents have been updated to reflect the more recent style of presentation as seen on the adverts for BritBox.

With the old BBC logo however.

Does anyone else find Britbox's offering a bit 'meh'? I often struggle to find much worth watching on it and feel like I've found it more useful as an ad-free way of watching ITV content rather than much else. Did decide to cancel my subscription after a few months and they enticed me to stay for 3 months at just £5.99 in total.. but don't feel like I'll be sticking around with them much longer.

Interesting to see ITV promote Lee Mack’s Semi Detached as being on BritBox tonight over the credits of 1% Club.

It’s a BBC Two show and although they’ve mentioned stuff like The Circle and Made in Chelsea before, it’s usually alongside TOWIE or another actual ITV show!

It depends on what you're looking to watch really. I like watching a lot of archive programmes, so Britbox is full of decent things to watch.

Britbox is part of Amazon Channels as well as it's own app on Fire TV.

Spitting Image cancelled.

Not hugely surprising considering it didn't cut through, but perhaps the possibility things about to get more boring in Westminster was the final nail in the coffin.

Quite frankly Westminster's seemed to be more dramatic than anything that Spitting Image's writers could realistically have come up with.

The loss of Trump and now Johnson is a big blow to Spitting Image, although the original series survived without Thatcher although she still maintained a place on the show by controlling John Major after he became PM for a period.

Spitting Image has a stage version coming next year so it'll live on.
