CBBC have a 15 minute show in a 20 minute slot at 1445, and CBeebies an 11 minute show in the same slot. Possibly they will do something for the silence.

As per the Channel 5 website, in contradiction to elsewhere, there is a 2 hour 45 minute 5 News Update at 1500. Presume that is a 1500 news bulletin (silence observance) followed by the film A Knights Tale which is shown in other listings such as on the Freeview website.

I like Sky News at ground level. It feels like we are part of the event with people walking directly past the window every few minutes and there is a good angle to see people walking down the hill. The other studio on the wall feels like its looking into the event rather than part of it but will have some good shots of everyone walking down

The BBC view is the worst of the 3 for me

It's very real, Its on the castle wall.

Yes - sky looking out over the grass with flowers laid on it on the ground level of the photo, and you can just about see the BBC set (I believe) right at the bottom of the picture (a bit is cut off).

Apologies I see it - it has the curved wall ! A bit cut off yes

If CBBC and CBeebies will, it would be like when the Queen Mother died. And by that I mean CBeebies brought it up.

It's quite likely that there'll be a beauty shot or two available to broadcasters - perhaps as a clean way of them getting in and out of the world feed or for putting on big screens.

The studios will be from the likes of Media Structures who often build bubble studios for sports and major events.

I really like ITV's studio, classy and elegant. I think it's much easier in the current circumstances to have the experts/commentators remotely instead of trying to fit them in the studio like the BBC have.
