I wonder if this audio issue is the same on the BBC One HD feeds from Wales, Scotland & NI or is it coming from my setup?

Noticed it myself, and picked up by a few on Twitter. So not your setup.

I had it as well, during the second half.
STV Player has a pop-up channel* showing ITV4's Live FA Cup coverage, simulcasting the same adverts and ITV4 break-bumpers. Interestingly, no ITV4 DOG though. Would this mean ITV are providing STV with a separate feed somehow?

EDIT: After the coverage ended, during the adverts, the feed switched to Ideal World.

(and as I type that the scoreboard has disappeared!)

Despite all the technical hiccups they've had, I've been enjoying it loads. And kudos to BBC/BT for digging out the "proper" darts theme from the archives!

Only been wanting that back since 1998! Wink

If it switched to us then yes it was a separate feed.

Red Bee Chiswick provide a permanent bookable circuit to STV via ITV's video network alongside the usual clean and dirty network feeds. We use it every night to provide the backup feed of our output to STV, so that must be the feed they used to take ITV4, and clearly Red Bee's MCR wasted no time in switching it back.

Was it in HD?

I guess if they still had STV2 they might have been allowed to show it there as it seems they're being considered overspill from the main rights to which STV technically contribute, although in the period when STV opted out of alot of ITV content during their dispute didn't they opt out of the FA Cup coverage which ITV had at the time?

Very good draw from a TV perspective, three matches that would be stereotypical first picks. Guees there's a high possibility that all matches are broadcast?

Not so sure on that - ITV at least would like a big all Premier League clash I'm sure. I assume all of these will end up on TV, even if on the red button or ITV4, anyway. Be interesting to see how the ITV4 matches this weekend rate.

RTÉ's Studio 5 has a new backdrop that is inspired from their new titles of their Six Nations coverage. It looks really good. It makes a nice change from their previous look for their rugby coverage.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this but RTÉ Studio 5 has a new table with the 6 Nations logo moulded into it. I just looked at it with a camera angle that was above the table itself. I honestly didn't see it before but it looks really nice. It's coloured in black & white on the table if you try and see it.
I bet BBC Sport and ITV Sport are annoyed with the failure of Premier League sides in this year's cup. The value of the rights diminishing as a result.
On Eurosport's Beijing Today, I must be the only one who is annoyed they keep the live bug on during edited highlights?

I don't think so because BBC and ITV have shown some great cup ties this weekend and most of the big guns have made it through this round with the exception of Leicester and Man Utd.
The 5th round is of course midweek so chances are at least one night will see matches both on BBC1 and ITV.

A great commentary can often elevate a great occasion and Clive Tyldesley certainly did that tonight on Bournemouth v. Boreham Wood.

It was also a bit amusing to listen to Clive get gradually more irate with the umpteen apologies for language picked up by the effects. I can't remember hearing so many of them.
