I remember when BBC Breakfast Time and BBC Breakfast News used to take a break over Christmas. BBC Breakfast News often never returned after Boxing Day, with BBC One opting just to air short ten minute news bulletins at 7.00am and 8.00am, with CBBC positioned around them, and instead wait until Jan 2nd to return to air.
BBC Breakfast Time in its original magazine form of 1983 - 1985 was only off air for a few days over Christmas.

For Christmas 1991, BBC Breakfast News had their final edition of the year on Friday 20th December, with simply BBC News, Regional News and Weather aired at 7.00am, 8.00am and 9.00am on Monday 23rd, Christmas Eve, Friday 27th, Monday 30th and New Year's Eve. BBC Breakfast News returned on Thursday 2nd January 1992, so that Christmas 1991 was a long break for that programme.

I suppose what makes The Masked Singalong more than just a compilation episode is that, if it's anything like the US version, song lyrics will appear at the bottom of the screen.
We have the schedules for Auntie Beeb, ITV, C4 and C5's family of channels but are there any ways to see what the smaller channels are broadcasting? Anything interesting?

Channel 4 putting the Snowman on that late on Xmas Day doesn't sit right with me. Should be early afternoon, inbetween Junior Choice and dinner.
I'll dig out the blu-ray.

Going a bit off-topic here, but...
I see that, once again, the Radio Times is describing its Christmas issue as "legendary" and Robin Shaw was called upon to draw the cover.
I'm fairly sure a certain person from the old Westward/TSW/Westcountry region isn't at all happy about that...

I haven't opened the Christmas TV guide yet (it doesn't seem right to start it this early!) but I haven't heard anything about Disney films like Incredibles 2, The Last Jedi and, er, some MCU film getting their Freeview premieres this Christmas, which I would have expected. Is that happening or has Disney just completely abandoned conventional TV now that Disney+ is out? (I think I saw that Spider-Man: Far From Home is on, but Sony owns the rights to that.)

It seems some but not all Disney Films will not be aired on Tv Anymore. Mary Poppins Returns is on Christmas Day and I think they are others.

Ah that's right, I remember seeing Mary Poppins Returns in a BBC Christmas trailer now. Strange that the films I mentioned are not airing though, I'd have thought they were old enough now that them being on TV wouldn't make a dent in Disney+ subscriptions. Maybe they'll be quietly shown in a couple of months.

Due to a lack of communication between myself and my wife, our household is now home to two copies of the Christmas Radio Times.
They're not identical though, I got the South/West/South West version, she got the London/Anglia/Midlands one.
Anyway, if anyone wants either copy, it's yours for a fiver plus postage costs

Not quite what you're asking for but BBC Scotland has a Christmas special of Scotland's Home of the Year and two specials to precede an upcoming series, Growing Up Scottish, which seems to be Scotland Made Me... under a different title, most likely because that series bombed.
