Do ITV usually put up all the scorers at the end of a match. They might struggle with this one - currently 19-0 in the England Womens games against Latvia with 5 minutes to go.

Meanwhile on the England match on ITV 4, the new graphics that debuted on the FA Cup are being used. And the scoreboard is just about containing the 20-0 (and counting) scoreline inside the box.

20-0 now, keep up!! ?

To have a full round-up of graphics, Prime Video using the same graphics (and titles style) as last season. BBC Alba using world feed graphics on Spain v. Scotland, never amazes me how basic BBC Alba's own sport graphics are when I see them.

They had one line containing two scorers that animated four different times.

Thankfully the graphic was not like the BBC's or the even the Champions League's with one line per scorer. I remember a German Cup match last season which Leverkusen won 9-0 and the graphic at full time showed five scorers and scrolled up to show the sixth - probably one of the most sensible ways to do if you need many lines of detail.

The BBC Sport website looks a bit of a mess with so many names.

An interview with the head of sport for C4 on the Super League deal

https://www.totalrl.com/channel-4-welcom...open-arms/

Main points being they aren't looking at picking up the highlights package so presume this might stay with the BBC since it fills a regional quota for them. Also kick offs will be Saturday at 12.30 at first, not Sunday like I had thought!
A rather horrifying thing to hear/read being said (unchallenged) on a Premier League broadcast. A reminder that this was broadcast from the country that hosts the World Cup in 12 months time.

This is quite an odd comment given in theory they have More4 and of course the "UK's biggest free streaming service"

Quote:“We are not looking to acquire the highlights package. We only have Channel 4 as our platform and a highlights package wouldn’t work for us, given that we only have one channel on which they could be shown.”

Although I do think the reality is they'd end up at 11pm on Mondays (not too dissimilar to BBC1) and then probably end up being pushed back to midnight then 1am, so probably best left to the BBC.

Basically the same slot as their Heineken Cup coverage then, although there’s minimal overlap (at that stage, the tournament is in the knockout stages and the time slots are different from the QFs on).
Here's a question, was England Women's 20-0 win tonight, the biggest football win ever televised live in the UK?

I guess C4 have some flexibility to an extent on the scheduling in terms of which weeks they take coverage. They say they'll have 2nd pick the weeks they do air matches, with Sky having the 1st and 3rd. Not sure if in the other weeks Sky air 2 or 3 matches.

Yes, all England’s Women’s qualifiers are on ITV 4 or ITV. This was aired on the former.

Wow, how utterly abhorrent - I’m quite surprised this was even allowed to be broadcast considering how beIN are normally keen on keeping their reputation intact. It will be interesting to see how the PL react.

The PL will probably ignore it until the pressure gets to much then make a statement or two and hope it all goes away.

BBC making a partial u-turn over Vaughan.
Not really - they only ever said he won't be involved in the Ashes coverage and that is still the case.

Posts earlier in this thread expected him to never work again for the BBC.
