BBC Two will break away from 10:00 and air some of the programmes displaced from BBC One.

Was this shown on I player streams? I checked and it went straight from BBC news to the tribute programme.
It aired on all channels except BBC One and the news channel

I got the screenshot from BBC One.

It aired between the regional news and the tribute.

It was on BBC One for most regions I think, unless the opt ran over. Certainly saw it here on BBC One NW.

Although all of the channels (except for BBC One) are simulcasting the News Channel... so that would mean it didn't air?
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines

I player must be using the same stream for all channels as I checked BBC two and it's the same as BBC one, straight from news into the tribute without the logo.
QVC is back to normal programming.

UPDATE: I've gone back and double checked, the family ident didn't air on BBC Two and the news channel.

It DID air on BBC One, BBC Alba, BBC Scotland and I'm not sure about BBC Parliament.

BBC Scotland was simulcasting the news channel however it must have cut to the BBC One feed as it did show the ident

It’s on BBC One only, just at 1930, right after the regional news.
BBC Two is carrying the News Channel, BBC Scotland is now a BBC Two relay.
Was the family ident the ident made when the logos changed for a event like this?

The LIVE feed at the BBC News website failed earlier today with over 5 million users trying at once. Had to be restarted to get it back up and running.

It was on BBC Alba, as they went to An La, and it was shown on BBC Scotland for some reason, they didn't show the pictures at the end of the news channel simulcast and went to the family ident.

I'm pretty sure the first one after the logo changed was some form of this:

Inspector Sands post_id=4764 time=1617995146 user_id=1003 Wrote:Digital TV uses a thing called Statistical Multiplexing. The data rates for the services (channels) on a multiplex aren't fixed but vary according to demand. The idea is that if a service suddenly needs a lot of bits as there's something quite fast moving like sport then chances are one of the others wont be needing as many bits as usual as it'll be showing something slower.

This causes issues when every service is showing exactly the same thing as there's nowhere to get the extra data rate from if needed.

I have heard that's why the plan was for BBC Four to be sacrificed. The problem is that if they want every channel joined up then in England there's BBC One, Two, News and Parliament.... and in Scotland Alba and BBC Scotland appear to be showing the same thing too.
Surely would have made most sense to sacrifice BBC Parliament - and of course they've been showing alternative programmes through to 7pm on CBeebies.

I think some of the decisions made today won't be repeated for the next event of such significance.
