I feel like a new look will be a good idea for this new bulletin.
They need to be more in line with Channel 5's current branding.
This is very good news. I can watch Richard Osman's house of games on BBC Two once i get my news fix
I assume Neighbours at 6, Eggheads at 630 and Home and Away lunchtime only (didn’t they do this with H&A during part of lockdown last year?)

Presumably they'll be some cost savings as well as don't the bulletins generally have separate hosts?

However there will presumably need to be an increase in content, given that some reports are currently aired in both half hour bulletins. The ITN press release mentions more reporting, including investigations, which would indicate an increase in newsgathering costs
Does anyone know if tonight’s 5 news tonight was the final one?. Eggheads starts on Monday and I thought the newly extended 5 news would begin too?

Hopefully the new 5 News at 5 Hour will have two presenters to keep Claudia and Sian at the helm.
