Having just finished watching the documentary, I didn’t realise how much she was in the programme between 2016 and 2018. I guess most people remember her time from the show in its earlier years. But the documentary did mention her life outside of Top Gear.

Yes she was one of the Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc series and appeared sporadically with Eddie Jordan, Chris Harris and Rory Reid maybe 2-3 times per series and Sabine & EJ were kept on for the next couple of series when it became the trio of Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris & Rory Reid again appearing 2-3 times per series, she appeared again with the current trio the first couple of series in films and Chris Harris said she had been pencilled in for features the last year but Covid put a stop to her appearing and the producers were hoping to get her involved in the next series.

Watched the tribute last night. So refreshing to have a tribute to someone with contributers basically saying "she was a nutter" than the usual niceties.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before (maybe on the old forum) but the BBC has now uploaded every series of "new" Top Gear to the iPlayer, dating back to 2002, even the ones predating James May's involvement.

I'm wondering if any legacy agreement the BBC still had in place with Richard Hammond (despite his departure from the BBC) regarding that episode, and it not seeing the light of day after its initial transmission, has expired perhaps; which is why it's now on iPlayer - or has it been edited down?

Because it’s good content I guess (well, if you like it) – and they have the rights to do so. I don’t think there’s needs to be a particular reason beyond it being another few hundred hours of content people might want to see. And it’s yet another show that is now up there with a significant archive, like Silent Witness for example.

Series 2 episode 7 has it's Greatest Car Ever segment removed as well as the majority of the end credits due to Stuart Hall's involvement and episode 8 of the same series is the 45 minute commercial edit with interlacing and inconsistent frame rate between the studio segments and VT.
