Knightmare a true classic. We'd laugh at the effects and acting now but back then in the late 80's and early 90's it was quite something. It was a tough game as I seem to recall. Only about 4 teams ever won.

One in relatively controversial circumstances (like skipping half the dungeon due to the "finding" of a shortcut, which was production code for 'the end of the series is approaching, let's see if we can go out on a high as we may not be back next year')

Which they found. And used. The end result being they became the last team to beat the dungeon. Cue best part of 30 years worth of debate on whether it was "engineered" as such.

The programme I watched the most as a child was Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids. The show was twisted and dark in all the right ways.
