Sorry for the slightly irrelevant question, but are we now on Forum 3.0?

Sounds like cookie clearances are necessary. Firefox does seem to be more sensitive to such issues than Chrome (on desktop). You can search cookies by domain name to select and delete the relevant ones, rather than clearing the lot (which is a PITA).
BBI45 -- it's a different theme, but the same forum as before. See the other thread.

I'm having the same issue, unable to login using Edge on my tablet - "The submitted form was invalid", but no problems with Internet Explorer.

Worth searching for 'tvliveforum' cookies via your browser's settings, and then deleting all matching cookies. The login was also playing up for me earlier this morning, and a clear-out of the site's cookies seemed to do the trick.
Formerly 'Charlie Wells' of TVForum.

I miss the days of the forum where we would simply send a large, self-addressed envelope to:
Television Live Centre, Wood Lane, London, W12 6PA …and Rob would send back an information pack with the latest posts. Much simpler.

I have just had exactly the same experience. In normal mode my login details were rejected. Currently using incognito mode and login details were accepted first time and logged me in.

I logged in successfully on my phone, but not on the laptop (and received a message same as Cameron's). Instead, I can log in the site with the latter, but in the browser's normal mode.CameronYoung post_id=34644 time= user_id=1509 Wrote:Yeah this is interesting, on normal mode in Firefox it's flat out refusing to accept my login details (Message being "The submitted form was invalid", yet it accepted them first time in private browsing mode.
Now on TVTalk, Pres Café and DeviantArt. Goodbye to all that, TVLF.

There’s a “delete cookies” button at the bottom of the forum - does that do the same thing?
Haven’t come across the problem myself. Yet!

I think the browser controls these days (and the "Enhanced Tracking Protection" in Firefox and similar in other browsers) have more of a say over cookies than what the website wants, so its a case of asking can i have it, and a browser says let me check. The days of websites having carte blanche as it were over what they can and can't set over the user experience vanished years ago. Internet Explorer was good at saying you want it, you can have it, and we'll let the user decide whether its a wise thing to do. Which is fine on a secure intranet but a disaster waiting to happen on the public internet.

Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Other Site Data > See all cookies and site data > search cookies. Or just go to chrome://settings/siteData

Clearing the site cookies also worked for me after having been unable to log in. Thanks for the tip!
