It was never liked when it was brought in for Series 5 in 2007, so much that it was scrapped for the 2009 series, but returned in 2010. Given the Sunday results show gets higher ratings than the Saturday show, and indeed pretty much anything else on TV, they won't be scrapping it any time soon. Dropping it in 2009 was the biggest mistake of a terrible series.

The synopsis of The Lateish Show on Channel 4 says they will be revealing the final one. Which is a strange situation as that show is pre-recorded with a studio audience on Tuesday nights!

News Beat is an awful programme - this is the first time I have tuned in - it seems they string out news stories so long - their newsreaders sound as if they are reading it off a very very slow autocue
